Averaging over 320 inches of annual snowfall and 300 days of sunshine, Winter Park, Colorado, is a premier skiing town about 1.5 hours’ drive from Denver. At an elevation of 9,100 feet, it is a skier’s haven. The summer whoever, draws mountain bike crowds with over 600 miles of trails.
To get there from Denver, you have to cross over Jones Pass at an elevation of 12,454 ft, crossing the Continental Divide in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Kyla flew in from NY to join her folks for Christmas. Floridians and skiing do not mix, so we did the tubing thing. Lots of fun!
