The Royal Botanical Gardens (RBC) in Burlington, Ontario is a sight to see. It will take many days to explore the 27km (16.7 miles), of trails on the 2,400 acres of nature sanctuaries. But we did manage to explore three portions of the four cultivated garden areas: the Rose Garden as part of Hendrie Park, parts of the Rock Garden and parts of Lake Garden.
Emphasis on ‘parts’ as the RBC boasts 300 acres of cultivated gardens with over 235,000 individual plants. Of these, more than 7,200 are unique types (Taxa), and over 50 species are at risk. It was one place in Canada where our senses were overwhelmed by God’s creation and beauty. As a rule, we never post more than 100 images if it can be helped. In this case, we are trying hard.
