Taos, New Mexico a offer one of the best all-around hot air balloon flights available in the U.S.A. For our anniversary, we used Taos Hot Air Balloon Rides which follow a unique balloon flight path over the Rio Grande Gorge, the wilderness and the “high bridge,” which is unmatched in its scenic beauty and outstanding hot air balloon flight conditions.
They offer Rio Grande Gorge Sunrise flights, followed by a delicious continental Champagne brunch. Our hot air balloon flight was over three hours long, sometimes much long, with a perfect combination of wind conditions and landing area. We traveled about 10 miles at altitudes between 500 ft and 4000 ft above the Taos area.
